Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 23, 2026
QuiVend is operated by Lawrence Suzara, doing business as QuiVend. This Privacy Policy explains how QuiVend handles information when you use our mobile app, website, and related services.
For questions about this Privacy Policy, you can contact us at: bonjour@quivendapp.com
1. What QuiVend Is
QuiVend is an inventory and sales logging app for artists, makers, convention vendors, merch sellers, pop-up sellers, and small event vendors.
QuiVend helps you track products, manage inventory, create bundles, log sales, view event reports, and estimate profit.
QuiVend is not a payment processor. Payments happen outside QuiVend through cash, card readers, bank transfers, PayPal, Venmo, or other external payment methods.
2. Summary
QuiVend is designed to be local-first. This means your core vending data is stored on your device so the app can continue working even without an internet connection.
The app may also use internet-based services for ads, subscriptions, app store purchases, support, and future optional features.
In simple terms:
- Your products, inventory, events, orders, reports, bundles, and product images are stored locally on your device.
- Product images you add are copied into QuiVend’s local app storage.
- QuiVend does not process payments.
- QuiVend may show ads in the free version.
- QuiVend offers paid subscriptions to remove ads and unlock premium features.
- QuiVend may use app store purchase systems to manage subscriptions.
- QuiVend may collect limited technical and purchase-related information needed to operate, maintain, and improve the app.
- QuiVend can function without an internet connection, but some features may require internet access.
3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
QuiVend stores the following information locally on your device:
- Product names
- Product categories and subcategories
- Product quantities
- Product prices
- Product costs, if you choose to enter them
- Product SKUs or notes, if you choose to enter them
- Product images, if you choose to add them
- Bundles and custom bundle information
- Event names
- Orders and order history
- Sales totals
- Cost of goods sold estimates
- Profit estimates
- Currency preference
- App settings
- Local backup files, if you create them
This information is used to make the app work, including inventory tracking, checkout logging, order history, and reporting.
4. Product Images, Camera, and Photo Library
QuiVend may ask for access to your camera or photo library when you choose to add product images.
QuiVend uses camera or photo library access only for product image features. Selected images are copied into QuiVend’s app-local storage so they remain available inside the app.
QuiVend does not use your camera or photo library to access unrelated photos, scan your gallery, identify people, or upload your product images as part of the local-first app experience.
5. Backups and Restores
QuiVend may allow you to create local backup files of your app data.
A backup file may include:
- Products
- Categories and subcategories
- Product quantities
- Product prices and costs
- Bundles
- Events
- Orders
- Reports
- Product images, if you choose to include them
- App settings
Backup files are created for your convenience so you can restore your data if needed.
If you save, move, upload, email, or share a backup file outside QuiVend, you are responsible for where that file goes and who can access it. Backup files may contain business information such as sales history, product prices, product costs, event names, and product photos.
6. Ads
QuiVend may show ads in the free version of the app.
Ads help keep QuiVend available for starter vendors who want to use the app for free.
Ads may be provided by third-party advertising services. These services may receive or use certain information from your device to deliver, measure, limit, or improve ads. This may include information such as device identifiers, ad interaction data, approximate location inferred by the ad provider, app activity related to ad delivery, and technical information about your device or app session.
The exact information collected or used may depend on your device settings, app store settings, consent choices, region, and the ad provider’s own policies.
QuiVend does not sell your local inventory, product, order, event, or sales report data to advertisers.
7. Subscriptions and Purchases
QuiVend offers paid subscription options, such as monthly and annual plans.
Subscriptions are processed through the relevant app store purchase system, such as Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchase. QuiVend does not directly collect or store your full payment card details.
When you purchase or manage a subscription, the app store or purchase provider may process information needed to complete and verify the transaction. QuiVend may receive limited purchase-related information, such as subscription status, product identifier, purchase date, renewal status, expiration date, and transaction confirmation data.
We use this information to:
- Activate premium features
- Remove ads for paid users
- Verify subscription status
- Prevent misuse or fraud
- Provide support related to purchases
Subscription billing, cancellation, refunds, and payment methods are managed by the app store where you purchased the subscription.
8. Information You Provide When Contacting Us
If you contact us for support, feedback, bug reports, or feature requests, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your message
- Screenshots or files you attach
- App version
- Device model or operating system details, if you include them
- Backup files, only if you intentionally send them to us for support
We use this information to respond to you, investigate issues, improve QuiVend, and provide support.
Please do not send sensitive information unless it is necessary for support.
9. Website Information
When you visit the QuiVend website, basic technical information may be processed by hosting, security, or analytics systems used to operate the website. This may include information such as browser type, device type, pages visited, approximate region, referring page, and technical logs.
This information is used to keep the website available, secure, and useful.
If the website uses forms, such as a contact form or feedback form, we collect the information you submit through those forms.
10. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide the app’s inventory, sales logging, bundle, event, backup, and reporting features
- Store and restore your local app data
- Show ads in the free version
- Manage subscriptions and premium access
- Respond to support requests
- Fix bugs and improve the app

11. How We Share Information
We may share or process information with service providers that help us operate QuiVend, such as:
- App store billing and subscription providers

- Website hosting providers
- Email or support tools
- App distribution platforms

We do not sell your local inventory, product, order, event, or sales report data.
12. Offline Use
QuiVend is designed so core features can work without an internet connection.

Some features may require internet access, including:
- Loading or displaying ads
- Verifying subscriptions
- Restoring purchases
- Accessing website pages
- Sending support requests

13. Data Deletion
Because QuiVend is local-first, most app data is stored on your device.
You can delete local data through the app’s data management features, such as deleting products, deleting events, deleting orders where supported, deleting backups, or using the “Delete All Data” feature if available.
Deleting the app from your device may also remove local app data, depending on your device and operating system behavior.
If you contact us for support and want us to delete support messages or files you sent to us, you can email us at bonjour@quivendapp.com.
We cannot delete local data that remains only on your device unless you delete it yourself through the app or your device settings.
14. Data Retention
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, delete the app, restore from another backup, or use an app feature that removes it.
Support emails, feedback messages, and website form submissions may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to provide support, improve the app, maintain records, or comply with legal obligations.
Purchase and subscription records may be retained by app stores and purchase providers according to their own policies.
15. Children’s Privacy
QuiVend is intended for vendors, creators, and small business users. It is not directed to children.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at bonjour@quivendapp.com so we can review and take appropriate action.
16. International Users
QuiVend may be used by vendors in different countries. Your information may be processed in the country where you live and in other countries where our service providers operate.
Privacy laws may vary depending on your location.
17. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information we handle.
However, no app, device, storage system, backup file, or internet service is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your device, app data, and backup files safe.
We recommend using device security features such as passcodes, biometrics, secure backups, and trusted storage locations.
18. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If changes are significant, we may provide additional notice in the app or on the website.
Your continued use of QuiVend after an updated Privacy Policy becomes available means you accept the updated policy.
